Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Vitea Studios ("we", "us") handles when you visit this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. Our Roblox experiences, Discord server, YouTube channel and other platforms are run by third parties and are covered by their own policies.

Information we collect

• Reviews you submit. If you leave a review, we store the display name you enter, your star rating, your review text, and the date and time it was posted.
• Browser storage. A small amount of information is saved in your browser's local storage. See "Cookies and browser storage" below for details.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything else you choose to include.

We don't ask you to create an account on this site, and we don't collect payment details.

Cookies and browser storage

This site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for two small things, both of which stay on your device and don't identify you:

• vs_cookie_consent remembers whether you accepted or declined on our cookie popup.
• vs_reviewed remembers that you've left a review, so the review form isn't shown again. We only save this if you haven't declined.

You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer. Declining removes the vs_reviewed flag. You can also clear this data through your browser's site settings.

How we use information

• To display reviews and calculate the average rating.
• To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
• To reply to messages you send us.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Public reviews

Anything you put in a review, including the display name, can be seen by anyone who visits the site. Please don't include personal information you wouldn't want made public, such as your real name, contact details or social media handles. A basic automatic filter blocks some inappropriate language, but it isn't perfect.

Third parties

• Google Firebase. Reviews are stored in a Firebase Realtime Database. On pages that show or accept reviews, your browser connects directly to Google's servers, which may receive technical data such as your IP address as part of that connection.
• Midnight Webs. Our website is powered and hosted by Midnight Webs, who may process the technical data described above.
• Links to other sites. This site links to Discord, YouTube, Roblox and X (Twitter). When you follow one of those links you leave our site, and the other service's privacy policy applies.

Retention

Reviews are kept until they are removed, for example at your request. Technical data held by our hosting provider is kept according to that provider's own practices. Data in your browser's local storage stays on your device until you clear it.

Your choices

• Remove a review. Email us with the display name and approximate date of your review and we'll remove it.
• Cookie settings. Use "Cookie settings" in the footer to accept or decline, or clear the stored data through your browser's settings. Doing so may show the review form again.
• Other requests. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, such as access or deletion. Contact us and we'll do our best to help.

Children

Many people who play Roblox are young. This site isn't designed to collect personal information from children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Because reviews are public, children should ask a parent or guardian before posting one. If you believe a child's personal information appears on this site, email us and we'll remove it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information handled through this site, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the "last updated" date at the top.
